Special Advisory Regarding COVID-19 Crisis.

We have opened the office and are now scheduling appointments for routine Dental procedures including cleanings. Changes have been made to protect our patients and Dental team from the COVID-19 virus. Some of the changes are outlined below.

We hope you and your family are in good health. Our community has been through a lot over the last few months, and all of us are looking forward to resuming our normal habits and routines. While many things have changed, one thing has remained the same: our commitment to your care and safety.

Infection control has always been a top priority for our practice and you may have seen this during your visits to our office. Our infection control processes are made so that when you receive care, it’s both safe and comfortable.

Our office follows infection control recommendations made by the American Dental Association (ADA), the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA).

As always, our instruments are sterilized in one of our autoclaves. We use hospital grade disinfectants on all surfaces. Public areas including the restroom will be sterilized throughout the day.

You may see some changes when it is time for your next appointment. We made these changes to help protect our patients and staff. For example:

  • Our office will communicate with you beforehand to ask some screening questions regarding cough, fever, history of COVID-19, family with COVID-19. You will be asked those same questions again when you are in the office.

  • We have hand sanitizer that we will ask you to use when you enter the office.
  • .
  • Appointments will be managed to allow for social distancing between patients. For this reason, you may be offered fewer options for scheduling your appointment.

  • We will do our best to allow greater time between patients to reduce waiting times for you, as well as to reduce the number of patients in the reception area at any one time.

  • We will be utilizing phone check-ins that allow you to remain in your car instead of the waiting room until we are ready to seat you in your personal operatory.

  • Only the patient is allowed in the office. If you have an accompanying friend/family, they must remain outside of the office.
  • .
  • Upon entering our office, you will be asked to sanitize your hands and everyone must wear a mask before and after their procedure(s). Also, at the beginning of every appointment, you will be asked to pre-rinse with an anti-bacterial and anti-viral mouth rinse.
